Application Recommendations: 

Pond Preparation
-- Add Pond-Bio at the rate of 80kgs/hectare when starting to fill pond with water. Dilute and mix with pond water before applying.
-- Start aeration as soon as pond water depth allows for paddlewheel aerators.
-- Ensure that alkalinity level is at 120ppm – 140ppm using CaCO3 or dolomite.

Pond Maintenance:
-- Add Pond-Bio to water at the rate of 10kgs – 20kgs weekly; use mixing instructions above.

When is the best time to use Pond-Bio? + -

The most opportune times to apply Pond-Bio are during pond preparation for faster algal and zooplankton blooms, during heavy rains or intermittent sunlight for stable algae population, and during algal or zooplankton die-offs.

I do not follow the Biofloc Method, do I need Pond-Bio? + -

Yes, definitely. No matter the culture method, a stable algae or zooplankton population is required for pond health. Pond-Bio allows you to achieve a balanced environment in either scenario.
